PINCKNEYVILLE SKILLED CARE

AUXILIARY

On December 4, 2007 a group of concerned citizens,   met at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital for the purpose of forming a Volunteer Community Auxiliary.

The purpose and main focus of this auxiliary at this time will be to help the Pinckneyville Skilled Care Unit maintain and purchase items for its future operation and existence.  This auxiliary is a non-profit organization run by volunteers only.

We have a great need for the continued operation of this facility for the excellent care it gives to our families that have special needs.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?

1.  Purchase a raffle ticket for $1 or 6 for $5.00.
Win a quilt and quilt stand.  The drawing will be Valentine's Day.  Tickets may be purchased from any member of the Auxiliary or you may contact me at sarjas@hughes.net
The quilt is being shown at the Pinckneyville Community Hospital.

2.  Donate good, saleable items to the Thrift Shop that will be opening in what was Clay Emling's pharmacy.  The owners of this building have generously made the building rent and insurance free to the Auxiliary until a buyer is available.  The Auxiliary must pay the utilities.  Volunteers will work the shop, but you are needed to make this work.

3.  Monetary donations are always welcome.  They can be sent to

Pinckneyville Skilled Care Auxiliary
P.O. Box 2
Pinckneyville, IL.  62274

4. Become an Auxiliary member.  One year membership is $5.00.  This would help tremendously.  You do not need to attend meetings.  However, if you would like to attend, you are more than welcome.  The next meeting is scheduled for January 22nd at 1:30p.m. at the thrift shop.
